Linda's Most Active Vacation
My mother is visiting until July 18.... and every moment with her is precious! Then I will be gone....two weeks in August which will be my REAL vacation...... I won't be around to fulfill as quickly as I would like!
Lazing around the pool, eating and drinking to your heart's content — sound like the ideal vacation?
Personally, I like an active vacation!! Linda says. "A vacation should be about being with family, physical activity, biking, hiking, eating right, bungee-jumping and meeting new friends! You don't take a vacation from fitness, just as you don't take a vacation from life."
Not only will your body get a workout during your vacation, but so will your mind. Active vacations can stimulate your imagination and creativity, and make you think — or dream!
When many of us take a vacation, more than anything, we seek to relax. We spend long, lazy days on a beach chair or in a hammock and socialize the night away with rum drinks, fancy martinis, and indulgent desserts. Too often, we return home heavier and flabbier than we've been since, well, our last vacation.
It doesn't have to be this way…….
I like to get the most out of my vacations!

About The ‘Gals’ & Me:
I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease in February 2002 that kept me literally bed-bound. It's been a 4-year tough battle but my ‘choice’ was not to take the victim role. The first dolls were actually made in bed with me in my jammies! I was told by all of my doctors that "these were impossible to do" and still to this day they still wonder 'how I do it.' ~smiling~
My spirit NEEDED to do this as well as my 'bratty side' not liking to be told what I can or cannot do! Thus, the “Wall” Dancers were born. I have learned many lessons and have met some of the greatest people on this adventure so I enjoy my 'ride' with a smile.
